Overview

Every sales order at Visa goes through a rigorous 25-point compliance and quality checklist before it can be approved and fulfilled. Historically, reviewers had to manually navigate across four separate Salesforce objects — Account, Opportunity, Order, and Order Products — cross-referencing data fields, validating conditions, and confirming status flags one by one. A single review cycle could take anywhere from 30 minutes to over an hour, and with dozens of orders in the pipeline at any given time, the bottleneck was significant.

The Challenge

The manual process introduced several pain points:

  • Time-intensive navigation — reviewers jumped between four objects, losing context and increasing cognitive load
  • Human error risk — with 25 distinct checkpoint items, missing or misreading a field was common
  • Inconsistent reviews — different reviewers applied different levels of scrutiny, leading to inconsistent approval standards
  • No audit trail — the process was largely undocumented, making it difficult to track who reviewed what and when
  • Scalability ceiling — as order volumes grew, the review team became a hard bottleneck

The Agentforce Solution

BuyFRAME implemented an Agentforce-powered Order Sanity Agent that:

  1. Receives a single Order ID as input from the reviewer
  2. Autonomously traverses all four related objects — Account (credit status, contract validity), Opportunity (stage, win probability, linked products), Order (pricing, approval status, fulfilment readiness), and Order Products (SKU accuracy, quantity limits, pricing tier compliance)
  3. Evaluates all 25 checklist items using configurable business rules defined in Salesforce metadata
  4. Returns a structured sanity report directly in the Salesforce UI — green/amber/red status per checkpoint, a summary score, and highlighted exceptions that need human attention
  5. Logs the review against the Order record with a timestamp and agent-generated notes
